Integration with external DSP

Scenario

Setup

Benefits

Scenario:

  • Hub DSP receiver (2 or 4 mic channel connectivity)
  • Catchbox microphones (mix of Cube, Clip and Stick as needed)
  • External DSP system

Setup:

  1. Connect the Hub DSP receiver to power
  2. On the Hub's screen, navigate to the IN section and pair each microphone, if not yet paired
  3. Configure the external DSP to receive and process the audio from the Hub.

For unmixed audio integration:

Connect the Hub's unmixed 3-pin outputs to the external DSP inputs. In the Hub's interface, go to OUT section -> Direct, and ensure each microphone is assigned to its corresponding output.

For mixed audio integration:

Connect the Hub's mixed 3-pin output to a single input on the external DSP. In the Hub's interface, go to the OUT section -> Mixout -> 3-pin, and adjust the voice lift level as needed.

Hub's DSP features (automixer, echo canceller, feedback suppression) are automatically applied to the mixed output.

Benefits:

  •  Integration of Catchbox Plus system with existing audio infrastructure
  • Combination of Hub's wireless capabilities with external DSP's advanced features
  • Scalability for large or complex audio setups

Unmixed audio integration:

  • Full control over each individual microphone channel
  • Ability to apply custom processing to each microphone channel separately
  • Flexibility for complex routing scenarios

Mixed audio integration:

  • Simplified setup with a single audio stream
  • Easy adjustment of overall voice lift level from the Hub
  • Automatic application of Hub's built-in DSP features, complementing external DSP processing
