Hub DSP receiver with Dante® and network connectivity features
Scenario:
- Hub DSP receiver with 2 or 4 mic channels (standard or with Dante® and network connectivity)
- Catchbox microphones (mix of Cube, Clip and Stick as needed)
- Computer for video conferencing
- Loudspeakers for voice lift
- Optional: Assistive listening devices, additional audio sources, integration with other microphone systems
This setup can be fully implemented with a standard Hub DSP receiver. The networking version offers additional features, detailed below.
Basic setup:
- Connect the Hub DSP receiver to power
- On the Hub's screen, navigate to the IN section and pair each microphone, if not yet paired
- Connect the Hub to your computer via USB for video conferencing
- In Hub Global Settings, set USB Device mode to Speakerphone
- Connect loudspeakers to the mixed 3-pin output for in-room amplification
Additional features:
- Connect an assistive listening device to the RCA output
- Use AUX-IN to connect a presenter's computer, sending audio to both in-room and remote participants
- To control voice lift level go to OUT section -> RCA or mixed 3-pin and adjust the voice lift level as needed (range down to -20dB)
- For larger spaces, where x1 Hub with a 4 channel mic connectivity is insufficient, consider using multiple Hub DSP receivers and daisy-chain them using the AUX-IN and RCA out ports
- Hub DSP receiver automatically applies Auto EQ, Auto level, Echo canceller, and Feedback suppression by allowing these features to work in the background for optimal audio quality without manual intervention
- Cost savings on additional equipment, such as a separate mixer, DSP, etc.
Hub DSP receiver with Dante® and network connectivity features:
Connect the Hub to your network for remote control and monitoring or integrating additional audio systems - go to the OUT section -> Dante® and enable the needed Dante® channels.
Use Catchbox Control and monitoring center for advanced system management.
