Scenario

Setup

Benefits

Scenario:

  • Hub DSP receiver with Dante® and network connectivity (2 or 4 mic channels)
  • Catchbox microphones (mix of Cube, Clip and Stick as needed)
  • External devices (e.d., recording system, mixer)

Setup:

  1. Connect the Hub DSP receiver to power and your Dante® network
  2. On the Hub's screen, navigate to the IN section and pair each microphone, if not yet paired
  3. Make sure the computer that you will be using the Dante® Controller software is connected to the same network that Hub is.
  4. Locate the Hub receiver in the Dante® network and route each of the Catchbox microphone channels to desired destinations.
  5. On the Hub's interface, go to OUT section -> Dante® and enable Dante® output channels. Optionally you can configure one channel as a mixed output of all microphones.
  6. For receiving audio via Dante®, go to IN section -> Dante® and enable Dante® input channels. Route these inputs to the Hub's outputs as needed.

Benefits:

  • Integration with complex audio systems
  • Flexible routing of individual microphone channels
  • Option to send mixed audio over a single Dante® channel
  • Easy scalability by adding more Dante®-enabled devices
  • Centralized control and monitoring of the audio network
