If there's no sound coming from your audio setup after connecting everything, here are the first things to check when troubleshooting:
- Check power and pairing. Ensure the mics and the Hub are turned on. The status LED indicators should be green on the Hub and on all mics. If any of the Catchbox mics are not paired, here's how to do it.
- Verify input and output routing. Check the Hub's interface to ensure all input sources are correctly routed and enabled. Review the mix configuration for each output, verifying which inputs are enabled.
- Adjust Voice Lift Level. If audio is too low, try increasing the Voice Lift Level for the relevant outputs (RCA or mixed 3-pin) in the Hub's interface.
- Check computer audio settings. When connecting your Hub receiver to a computer, verify the audio settings. Catchbox microphones should be selected as the audio input.
- External equipment. If using loudspeakers or external amplifiers, check their connections and volume settings. They should be properly connected to the appropriate Hub output.
- Microphone Issues. If there is no sound when speaking into the Cube or Clip mic but there’s a slight noise when tapping on the microphone, this might indicate an issue with the accelerometer. Please let us know if you’re experiencing this by filling the Report a problem form - we’ll help!
Don't forget to attach a short audio/video recording, so we could resolve this for you as soon as possible.
