How to minimize Audio Latency?

If you're playing audio from Catchbox plus mics through speakers connected to your computer, you might notice a slight delay between speaking and hearing the sound.

This delay, known as audio latency, happens because the audio signal takes time to be processed by the computer before coming out of the speakers.

For the smoothest experience, here are a couple of setups we suggest:

    • If you're using the Catchbox Plus system for video conferencing and want the mic output to be heard by online attendees only, connect the Hub receiver straight to your computer
    • If you're hosting a local event and need the sound on speakers, connect the Hub receiver to them
