Why is there a delay/echo on the audio playback from Catchbox Plus?

Catchbox Plus is an excellent microphone system for video conferencing.

If you're playing audio from Catchbox mics through speakers connected to your computer, you might notice a bit of a delay. This is called audio latency. It happens because of the way the audio signal gets processed by the computer before coming out of the speakers.

For the smoothest experience, here are a couple of setups we suggest:

    • If you're using the Catchbox Plus system for video conferencing and want the mic output to be heard by online attendees only, connect the Hub receiver straight to your computer
    • If you're hosting a local event and need the sound on speakers, connect the Hub receiver with them
