Where is the microphone?

The microphone is located right on top of the Catchbox capsule. A foam windscreen (also called a foam cap) is placed right on top of it and fixed in place with a velcro ring.
We use an Electret condenser microphone - a sensitive Omni-directional microphone. You can find out more about electret type microphones here.
