Connectivity options

  • Dante®: For advanced audio networking, providing separate unmixed channels and allowing for custom processing and automixing in an existing DSP.
  • 3-pin connectors: Offer separate unmixed channels, supporting individual channel processing.
  • USB: Functions as an input, output, and power source, ensuring flexibility for digital audio connections.
  • Aux In: Provides an additional input option for external audio sources.

Integrated DSP

The Hub features an integrated Digital Signal Processor (DSP) that includes a mixer and advanced audio processing capabilities:

Automixer

Activates the microphone of the person currently speaking. It quietly lowers the volume of other microphones to reduce background noise, echoes, and feedback, and maintains a consistent overall sound level when multiple people are speaking simultaneously.

Auto EQ and Auto Level

Adjusts bass frequencies and balances sound levels based on the speaker's voice and microphone characteristics. Ensures clear audio without issues like boominess or nasal tones. Automatically adjusts the overall volume to maintain consistent audio without manual adjustments.

Echo Canceller and Howling Limiter

Gently lowers the volume of microphones when the far end is speaking and reduces incoming audio when someone at the near end (in the room) is talking. Prevents echoes and ensures clear two-way communication. Protects against feedback by spotting and controlling screeching noise.

Feedback Suppression

Reduces feedback during voice-lift by slightly and continuously changing the pitch of the amplified sound.

Processing paths

The Hub DSP receiver supports two main processing paths:

  1. Far-end/USB Audio path (available on USB output)
  2. In-room Audio path (available on mixed 3-pin, RCA, and Dante® output.

Mixed output

Provides a mixed output through a balanced 3-pin connector, ensuring reliable audio transmission to external audio systems. The unmixed output offers separate unprocessed audio from each microphone through Dante® or 3-pin connectors.

Wireless capabilities

The Hub operates on the DECT frequency (1.8/1.9 GHz band) with a range of up to 100 meters (330 feet). It supports up to 4 wireless microphone channels per each receiver. The technology and frequency band determine how many systems can be used in one room.

  • US: up to 6 Cube, Clip or Stick mics
  • EU/globally: up to 10 Cube, Clip or Stick mics

User interface and controls

There is a visual user interface for monitoring and adjusting settings that allows control of individual channel settings and overall system configuration. Hub also has a Stealth mode to disable the display while keeping all functions operational.

Network connectivity and remote management

Available with networking module for Dante® audio and remote control capabilities. The Hub supports API integration, Q-SYS and Utelogy plugins, and Catchbox Remote Control software for remote management.

Physical design

Hub has built-in internal antennas and the plastic body allows for an optimal signal strength. There is the Kensington lock for security and it is compatible with a custom mounting kit for flexible installation options.

Benefits of the Hub DSP receiver

Simplified audio management: The integrated DSP and automixing features significantly reduce the need for constant manual adjustments.

Consistent audio quality:  DSP features work to maintain consistent audio levels and clarity, even in challenging scenarios such as multiple speakers or difficult acoustic environments.

Flexible Integration: Multiple input and output options allow for easy integration with various audio systems and setups.

Remote management: Network-enabled models allow for convenient  remote control and monitoring, ideal for large installations.
