Important: This is a discontinued product. On August 10th, 2022, we launched the next Catchbox Plus generation, which is not compatible with the Legacy Catchbox Plus.
Watch the video above or follow the below instructions for setting up your Legacy Catchbox Plus with an audio system (a mixer board, amplifier, or other device), a computer, or both:
1. Connect the receiver depending on your setup:- For a setup with an audio system only:
- Plug the power supply into the AC mains outlet and connect it to the receiver’s micro-USB socket.
- Connect the receiver to your audio system with the included audio cable (to the receiver’s LINE OUT audio output and to your audio system’s input) or with an XLR audio cable (not included).
- For a setup with a computer only:
- Plug the included USB data cable into the computer's USB port.
- Connect the cable to the receiver's micro-USB socket.
- For a setup with both a computer and an audio system:
- Plug the included USB data cable into the computer's USB port.
- Connect the receiver to your audio system with the included audio cable (to the receiver’s LINE OUT audio output and your audio system’s input) or with an XLR audio cable (not included).
- Connect your audio device to your computer.
2. If your setup includes a computer, select Catchbox as the input signal on your computer’s audio settings:
3. Turn on the receiver and transmitter.
4. Pair the receiver and transmitter:
- Turn both of them on until the status LED lights up green.
- The transmitter and receiver are already paired in our facility - however, if they aren't:
- Press the pairing button on the receiver - the LED light should start blinking.
- Press both volume control buttons simultaneously. Once paired, the LED lights will stop blinking.
5. Adjust the volume level:
- Test the volume by speaking into the microphone.
- Adjust it as needed on the receiver and transmitter.
6. Insert the Cube mic into the cover (align the black triangle marks on the mic and the cover) until you hear a click to secure the magnetic lock.
