Catchbox Mod is a microphone module that turns a wireless beltpack transmitter into a throwable Catchbox microphone. It’s easy to integrate Mod with any event that already has a working wireless microphone setup.
Catchbox Mod:
- Requires a compatible beltpack transmitter. You will receive 3 adapter cables but NOT the transmitter itself.
- As other Catchbox microphones, Mod can be custom branded or you can choose one of four standard colours.
- Is not the same as the full Catchbox Plus system.

- Working range - depends on the wireless system used and the surroundings (RF output settings, signal absorption, reflection, and interference)
- Battery life - >20 h (requires 1 AA alkaline battery)
- Microphone - omnidirectional electret condenser
- 0 ms audio latency
- Active Automute - a patent-pending technology that senses the motion of the throwable mic and temporarily switches off the audio when the device is thrown, caught, or dropped.
